About Me

In September 2019, the Henry Hudson Tri-District welcomed Christina Egan as the new Tri-District Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Atlantic Highlands Elementary, Highlands Elementary and Henry Hudson Regional Schools. 

Mrs. Egan comes to the Tri-District from her prior position as the Supervisor of Language Arts in the Keyport School District, where she also directed the preschool program and provided building-level administrative support at the high school. Egan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Oregon and her Master in the Art of Teaching degree from Marygrove College.  Currently, she is a doctoral candidate in the Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Leadership program at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  Her research interests include teacher retention, organizational improvement, educational leadership, and teacher effectiveness.
