Welcome to the “Libraries Rock” Summer Reading Challenge! This year our elementary schools in Atlantic Highlands and Highlands will participate in the Monmouth County Library’s summer reading program.

  • You do not have to be a Monmouth County Library member to participate, although we strongly encourage families to take advantage of this free library system.   If you would like to acquire a free Monmouth County Library card, please click here.
  • “Libraries Rock” sign ups begin on June 1st. To sign up and learn more about the claim prizes based on the number of minutes you read, click here. You can log the number of minutes you've read through August 11th. For questions regarding logging minutes please reach out to Ms. Azan @ dazan@monmouthcountylib.org

  • Summer Reading Mural Activity – click here to print out a copy of your rockstar guitar  for our "Back to School Summer Reading Mural".  Complete as many of these rockstar guitars as you choose and help us build a beautiful mural to grace the halls of your respective school. Turn these into your teacher on the first day of school to participate.
